How to set up IPTV on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

On Apple devices, IPTV Canada runs through an app from the App Store. Apple TV 4K gives one of the best big-screen experiences, and iPhone or iPad can AirPlay to compatible TVs.

Compatible devices

  • iPhone and iPad on iOS / iPadOS 15 or newer
  • Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K (tvOS 15+)
  • AirPlay 2 Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony and others)

Steps

  1. Open the App Store

On iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, search for the player app named in your activation email and tap Get.

  2. Activate

Open the app and enter your activation details. On Apple TV, the app may let you type them on your iPhone instead.

  3. Allow local network access if asked

Some players need it to cast. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.

  4. Set your time zone and language

Choose your Canadian time zone in the app so the guide shows local times.

  5. AirPlay to your TV (optional)

Tap the AirPlay icon while a video plays and choose your Apple TV or AirPlay 2 TV.
