Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

This policy explains how IPTV Canada (“we”) handles personal information collected through iptvcanada.xyz. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Person in charge of privacy

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for protecting personal information. To reach them, use the contact form and choose the subject “Privacy or data request”. We respond within 30 days.

What we collect

  • Free trial requests: name, email, phone number and country code, device, optional note, and the time you gave consent.
  • Contact messages: name, email, optional phone, subject, optional device and your message.
  • Orders: name, email, phone, chosen plan, payment method, optional note, province (only if taxes apply), order reference and payment status.
  • Security data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address (never the address itself) to prevent abuse and fraud.
  • Analytics (only if you accept): pages visited and general device information, through Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization.

What we never collect

We never receive or store your card number, card security code or PayPal password. Card payments are entered on our payment provider’s PCI-compliant page.

Why we use it

  • To review and reply to trial requests and messages.
  • To process orders, verify payments, deliver activation details and provide support.
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
  • To send marketing emails — only if you ticked the optional box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service, under contracts that require them to protect it: website hosting, transactional email delivery, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile, if enabled), payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, BTCPay Server), and Google Analytics if you consent. Some of these providers store data outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We assess these transfers as Law 25 requires.

How long we keep it

  • Trial requests and contact messages: 24 months after the last exchange.
  • Orders and payment records: 7 years, as required for tax records.
  • Analytics data: 14 months.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site works without tracking cookies. Analytics cookies load only after you click “Accept analytics”; your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months and you can change it by clearing your browser data.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, receive your data in a structured format, or ask how a decision was made. Use the contact form (subject “Privacy or data request”). You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Security

Data travels only over HTTPS. Records are stored in an access-restricted database, forms are protected against automated abuse, and payment notifications are verified with cryptographic signatures. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the regulators as the law requires.

Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new “last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify customers by email.
